Cohort X Journal

Cohort X Journal (CXJ) is a peer-reviewed, Internet/Print journal. Although the primary focus of the journal is children from birth to 8, we will also publish articles, essays, editorials and letters to the editor concerning the education of children and young adults. This includes submissions from all educational disciplines, including Educational Administration, Physical Education and Counseling.

In August 2005, Cohort X officially began the doctoral matriculation process. Their first doctoral level course, EDCI 703, yielded several world class research proposals and papers. As these erudite scholars forge ahead through the matriculation process, they are destined to make history.

Doctoral Cohort X is comprised of 10 exceptional individuals, 9 women and 2 men. Our cohort is the 10th group to pursue a doctorate in Early Childhood Education at Jackson State University.
